Kingdom of Heaven, Part 4: Jesus is The Way
o my surprise, after doing some digging, I was so amazed how many people still struggle to understand this topic, yet the bible has been super clear about Jesus and The Kingdom of Heaven. Let me put it this way: yes, Jesus is the one and only way to heaven. Let's get right into it and find out why.
Many Ways to Heaven?
First, let’s see what Jesus says: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).
So there you have it: Jesus Christ is exclusively the one and only way, why? because God is the author of that way (John 3:16). Jesus also tells us that He is the truth because so many people / religions have tried to suggest otherwise. He tells us that He is the life, which means the everlasting, eternal life. Everything we do to get to heaven is accomplished through Jesus Christ y’all.
The Way and The Gate?
The bible says: For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). Jesus is the only way we may enter heaven, and we have direct access to the one mediator and not through a pastor, dead saints, preacher or so called spiritual father / mother.
In fact, Jesus says he is also the gate. How do we enter the gate? Through Jesus Christ. So you see, Jesus is The Way, The Truth, The Life and The Gate to heaven.
Don't be Deceived
Many people are getting deceived by false teachers but the fact of the matter is that Jesus already had a clear message for those taking different paths:
“Lord,” someone asked Him, “will only a few people be saved?” Jesus answered, “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able (Luke 13:24). The narrow door is Jesus himself that he was talking about.
Also be warned:
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves (2 Peter 2:1).
Unfortunately, many religious groups, including famous biblical teachers today get it wrong by suggesting there are other ways to be saved. This includes popular celebrities and talk show hosts that have pushed a false narrative that there are many ways. The scripture is clear:

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it (Matthew 7:13).
With an estimated 10,000 distinct religions worldwide, Jesus Christ is clearly the narrow gate. Again, in Luke 13:24:
“Make every effort to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able.
The Good Shepherd: Jesus
Finally, in this parable, Jesus illustrates that He, himself is the only way. In contrast to the Good Shepherd, Jesus warned us about wolves that come in sheep’s clothing. Those are false teachers who are after money and personal gain. So we are always warned about false teachers who claim that salvation comes through other saints, spiritual fathers / mothers, pastors, prophets. The Lord is my shepherd, your shepherd, who is a Good Shepherd ready to guide us; glory to God!
