40 Names and Titles of Jesus Christ
ake a close look at these names and titles. Does God also have the following names : I am, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, The First, The Last? You'll be surprised that many people still do not believe that our Lord Jesus Christ was God manifested in the flesh: the mystery of godliness (1 Timothy 3:16).
1 - Mighty God
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6)
2 - Lord
Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord” (John 21:7)
3 - I AM
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am” (John 8:58)
4 - The Son of God
And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God” (Matthew 16:16)
5 - Son of Man
For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost” (Matthew 18:11)
6 - The Messiah
You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Matthew 16:15-16

20 Righteous Branch

23 - The Last Adam
calls Jesus “the last Adam.” As Adam was once the head of humanity, our representative, Jesus is now our representative 1 Corinthians 15:45
24- Saviour

25- True Vine
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman” (John 15:1).
26 - Mediator

27- Good Shepherd
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep” (John 10:11)
28 - Teacher
The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him” (John 3:2)
29 - Chief Corner Stone

30 - Faithful Witness

31 - Prince of Peace

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. Colossians 1:15

36 - Prophet

37 - Redeemer
For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth” (Job 19:25
38 - High Priest
“Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus” (Hebrews 3:1).
39 - Counsellor

40 - Lamb of God

Why 40?
esus Christ has many more titles or names than 40, so please feel free to share them in the comments below. We only chose forty because it symbolizes a deep connection with God or His promised fulfillment (take a look at foreshadowing of Jesus - A Type of Christ Series).
